Everything bulk e-waste buyers ask us before shipping 5+ tons to our Ajman Free Zone facility.
What is the minimum bulk quantity SND Recycler accepts?
We accept bulk loads from 500 kg for servers and networking equipment, and 5 metric tons for mixed e-waste. For international shipments from the US, EU or Asia, our minimum is one 20ft container (approximately 8–12 tons depending on material composition).
Do you buy e-waste from the USA, Europe and Asia?
Yes. SND Recycler is Basel Convention compliant and regularly imports bulk e-waste from the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, France, India, Singapore, Japan, China, Canada and Australia. We handle all Prior Informed Consent (PIC) documentation, customs clearance and door-to-door logistics.
What certifications does SND Recycler hold?
We are R2v3 Certified, ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety), e-Stewards certified, and fully Basel Convention compliant. Our Ajman Free Zone facility operates under UAE Federal Law No. 12 of 2018 on Integrated Waste Management.
Do you provide a Certificate of Destruction?
Yes. Every load receives a Certificate of Destruction (COD) with a serialized asset listing, compliant with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection and GDPR. This protects your organization from data liability.
How fast do you respond to a bulk RFQ?
Our Ajman procurement team responds to every bulk RFQ within 24 business hours with a formal quote, logistics plan and compliance documentation. For urgent loads, WhatsApp us directly for same-day response.
How do you price bulk e-waste?
Pricing is commodity-linked and based on material composition, quantity, precious metal content and logistics. We provide assay reports for circuit boards and offer either outright purchase or a revenue-share model for high-value loads.
Is your transport fleet tracked?
Yes. All collection vehicles are equipped with RASID GPS tracking that reports live to the relevant UAE municipality server, providing full chain-of-custody evidence for your audit and ESG teams.
What payment terms do you offer?
For domestic UAE clients: payment within 7 days of processing. For international clients: we work with Letters of Credit (LC), advance payment for first-time shipments, and net-30 terms for established partners.
Can you handle on-site data destruction?
Yes. We offer on-site hard drive shredding, degaussing and SSD destruction at your premises anywhere in the UAE, GCC, or internationally (with mobilization). A Certificate of Destruction is issued on-site.
Do you serve data centers, banks and hospitals?
Absolutely. Our core clients include data centers, banks, hospitals, telecom operators, government entities and Fortune 500 enterprises. We specialize in large-scale IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) projects across the Middle East and globally.
What is the Basel Convention and why does it matter for my shipment?
The Basel Convention is a global treaty controlling the transboundary movement of hazardous waste, including e-waste. It requires Prior Informed Consent (PIC) between exporting and importing countries. As a Basel-compliant recycler, SND Recycler handles the full PIC procedure so your shipment is legally documented and auditable.
Can you collect from Ajman Free Zone and other UAE free zones?
Yes. We are based inside Ajman Free Zone and collect regularly from AFZA, JAFZA, Dubai Silicon Oasis, DAFZA, SAIF Zone and all mainland UAE locations. Free zone businesses receive the same 24-hour RFQ response and free bulk pickup.
Do you offer buyback or revenue-share for high-value IT assets?
Yes. For working servers, networking gear, storage arrays and high-grade circuit boards, we offer either outright purchase or a revenue-share model based on assay results. Contact us with your inventory list for a valuation.
How do you handle data-bearing devices?
Every data-bearing device — HDD, SSD, tape, USB — is either securely wiped to NIST 800-88 standards or physically destroyed. A Certificate of Destruction is issued for every serialized asset. On-site witnessed destruction is available for enterprise and government clients.
